Exercise Variety Is the Key to Success!

I see so many people in the gym doing the same old routine in the gym day in, day out and indeed I used to be one of them! Without a proper nutritional routine or exercise program to follow we easily become bored of doing the same old exercises and unsatisfied with the little results returned from all our hard work and we tend to give up! 

This is where exercise variety comes in - The body can adapt to any stresses put upon it quite quickly, which means you can reach a plateau or stopping point with your training progress/results from doing the same old stuff. By changing up your routine such as, one day jogging and next day doing weight training, next day a high intensity bootcamp class etc. you will stimulate your muscle fibers, cardiovascular system, metabolism in new ways and have you blasting through your plateau, achieveing greater results and reaching new levels of progress.

Also remember to keep your workouts intense, meaning, break a sweat, keep moving, dont dawdle between sets, feel the burn, keep your heart rate up and no chatting or time wasting! Basically dont be afraid to mix it up in the Gym and keep your body guessing. If you don't challenge yourself you won't change yourself!
All this ties together of course with a sound nutrional meal plan which is the main component of success in reaching your physical goals. Try cutting out unhealthy snacks and soft drinks and reduce your carbohydrates to burn bodyfat while increasing protein for lean muscle growth and recovery.
