What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations need to be made a minimum of 24 hours in advance so I may be able to fill that time slot. If cancellation is made inside 24 hours, in the case of block session paying customers, a session will be docked/deducted and in the case of single session paying customers a 20 euro cancellation fee will be charged

Can I get a refund?

Yes once the refund is requested within a 1 month period/30 day period from the time of initial payment received. Any services provided before the refund request will be deduced from original total paid amount.

How long are my sessions/block packages valid for?

Sessions/packages and are valid for a period of 12 months from the date of initial payment received.

What payment methods can I use to pay?

Cash, Cheque, Bank drafts or Online transfers are accepted. I don't accept credit or debit cards at this moment.

Are sessions transferable?

Yes, if the situation arises that you can not personally continue training I would be happy to transfer the remaining sessions/credit to family member or friend.

How long are gift vouchers valid for?

Gift vouchers are valid for 5 years from the date of purchase but once redeemed they will be subject to 12 month session/package validity (see above).

Are there any age restrictions?

The minimum age of clients I work with is 16 and may require a permission letter from parent/guardian. There is no upper age limit.

Is the facility wheelchair accessible?

The facility is fully wheelchair accessible including a private wheelchair accessible changing room with showers and lockers.

How many times per week can I train with you?

Usually 1-2 sessions per week is adequate but depending on my schedule I may be able to accomodate more. This can be discussed more in person.

Can I pay in installments?

Ideally once off complete payments are preferred for ease of accounting but I can take 2 installments for larger block packages.

Do I have to be a member of Energize Gym (Strand hotel leisure centre) to work with you?

No you do not require a membership to do personal training with me but I can offer discounts on gym membership/access if needed.

Is there parking?

Yes 2.5 hours free parking in the Strand Hotel underground car park is included each time you visit whether you are a member of energize or not.

Are there locker rooms to store my belongings?

Yes plenty of lockers where you can safely store your items. Lockers take a euro coin or trolley token which returns.

Can I use the showers there?

Yes showers are available in the male and female locker rooms so you can grab a shower after our session if you wish.

Can I use the pool side facilities?

The poolside facilities are available to Energize members only but as my client/non-member you can purchase day passes or discounted memberships which give you access to the poolside.

Can I get a complimentary towel?

Towels are complementary to members of Energize health club but depending on availability I may be able to provide you with a towel but please bring your own extra towels for showering etc.

How/When do I receive confirmation of training times?

You will always be contacted by me personally usually by SMS or Whatsapp. Do not assume a training time until confirmed by myself.

What are your hours of work?

Usually Monday to Saturday, mornings, afternoons and evenings but these are subject to change. Can be discussed more in person.

What is the renewal process?

Its very simple to renew or continue training by purchasing another block or more single sessions.

Can I freeze my prepaid sessions while i'm on vacation or away?

I will put your sessions on hold while you are away as long as the absence does not exceed 12 months. If you have any questions which are not stated on this FAQ then please contact me personally to discuss. Thank you.
